Who We Support

We are very grateful to all the people who give to support our churches. There is a prayer we sometimes use ‘Everything comes from you Lord, and of your own have we given you.’ We believe that ultimately God is the source of everything we receive and he is incredibly generous.

We also believe that we should we generous to others and there are a number of charities and people who we give to on a regular basis, in a planned way as well as occasional one off gifts.

One of the leading Christian aid and development agencies

Berwick Foodbank

We support our local foodbank with occasional gifts of money and also gifts of food, toiletries and other items, especially at our Harvest celebration events.

Christian Aid

A UK based Christian charity that works internationally to alleviate poverty

Mission to Seafarers

We are exploring with Mission to Seafarers how we could provide support to the seamen who crew the ships that regularly visit Tweedmouth Dock. They spend very many months away from home and Mission to Seafarers works with churches to help alleviate some of the loneliness and hardship that goes with their work.

Corinna and Andreas became involved with Tweedmouth Church while they undertook some of their training in Berwick. Andreas says: Every language on this planet – and there are more than 7,000 of them – is a document of the creativity that God has endowed mankind with.
